new vw owner

Hi from coventry just saying hello I joined the club I few weeks ago but I have not had a chance to get on the site I have got a mk1 cab auto got the cab in November last year as it had been standing for 5 years  it needed a good service the hood was leaking  and brakes did not work the seats and carpet had seen better days  so they  have been replaced  along with the hood   I have been getting it ready for the better  weather  managed to get it on the road for the first time on Tuesday  had a lot of problems with fuelling  but slowly getting it sorted out  hope to get to meet some of the club members over the summer  I would like to say thank you to all the members who have posted the help posts as they have been  a lot of help  well that's all for now Tom.

Hi too from Cov tom, not many from Cov but there is plenty from the W mids mate, if your at a loose end tommorow lunchtime a few of us are going to mattt (jellybelly's) for a spot of lunch by way of a bbq your more than welcome to come along and meet fellow lunes, drop me a pm with your number if your interested.
