As Alan says mate… just look around in the projects section.  No 1, 3 or 5 spoke though please 8O … BBS or old school P-slots are nice… Ronal Turbo's are a favourite of mine

Google image mk1 golf and you'll find loads of pics with different alloys. Personal faves r bbs split rims and banded steelies although u can get lenso lokalikeys of the bbs splits for half the price. Still look as good just not quite as cool as the splits ;) deepdish alloys are always a winner on mk1s. No need to go too big either 15s are a good size.
These pics might inspire you

What's it got on at the moment?
I'm desperatly trying to find some origionals for my 98mk1, its got horrible boy racer tws ones on and i'd love some origionals. Anway, if you do replace yours let me know and i'll make you an offer for yours.

MK1 1.6 GLI Cabriolet :)
MK2 GTI 5 Door (WANTED)
MK3 1.9 TD Golf (90miles a day, 55mpg excellent car)
MK4 1.9 SDI 3dr no longer with us!(crashed into a tree)
MK5 Looks like a Golf, Sounds like a Golf but corners like a van.

if you mean the steel wheels then you can still buy them new from VW.
