Hairyarse - that guide looks really useful, I have been quite lucky with mine - only having to replace the usual sort of wear and tear parts. Oh and all the suspension and shocks but that was by choice ;-)

 if you wanna get a feel of what the mk1 is all about then come on down to the south west meet on sunday the 20th of nov.
 its in taunton, but i live in exeter so there are a couple of us going up in convoy. we will be meeting at exeter services at 11.15 on that sunday.

 feel free to pop along and you may even see some famous people (you know who you are darren!)

Have you got any details of the show in Taunton? any web links or anything?

Have a look in the regional meets and shows section under SWM5 or SWM4 for some pics of the last meet.

Car looks really tidy but I don't think i've seen it around yet. Or I might just be going blind ops:

I have had it since last may and only live in Newton Abbot.  Quite often in Torquay/Paignton with it!  More so in the summer i spose!

as shortstuff says, have a look at the SWM thread on regional meets.
 
 plus you can read some of the banter as the northwest boys beat us last time! :x
 but our crown will be regained!
