new to mk1's

Hi All

I'm mark, I'm from derbyshire, I have an addiction to cars  
I've just treated myself to a mk1 clipper, hung my nose over a few over the last year or two at all the shows, found myself a nice little example, needs a little bit of tidying up, but it's a real credit to it's previous owners, bought from a nice guy on this forum. I can't wait to detail it!! but busy this weekend then its gti festival so may have to wait a few weeks.
I also own a mk2 16V and an audi a4 cab, so the clipper is just a bit of fun, although I am thinking about maybe selling the mk2, but we will see if it gets used now I have the clipper.







I'm pretty much taking the whole streets parking up

thanks buddy, gutted i had to let it go, but those funds were needed to make way for the sportline :-)

The badge kit is from a guy called chortle on here however i know he is really busy at the mo, and think he is waiting on stock from the supplier he gets the kits from

If you can find the funds as they arnt the cheapest you can get new badges here

Plans? needs a good detail, but I like OEM, maybe get some nice summer wheels, stainless exhaust maybe, lower the front slightly, just tidy it up and make it look better than when It left the factory   my mate is trying to talk me into an engine swap but i need some convincing

do what i should have done, kept my white one, but popped a sportline interior in it, and then do a 1.8T conversion

or maybe Audi TT interior and 1.8T engine conversion :-)

It looks like a really nice example though so easily reversible mods are always a better option :-)

i think white ones look nice slammed on some G60 wheels as well :-)

A 1.8 20v T lump with K03s Turbo and Custom Code map delivers nice smooth power.  :wink:

funny cos I have some G60's sat in the shed, took them off a mk2 to put RA's on a couple of years ago, never got round to the refurb  8O

I like the sound of a TT interior tho  

well if you do change the interior in there at some point, if its the interior i think it is, i know someone on the forum is looking for that interior :-)
