New to Golf ownership :)

Hi everyone!
Just bought my first mark1,well,my first Golf of any kind!
Its a Gambia Red 1.1c,with all the extras including….err…..well…im sure something was added somewhere!Never had as much as a radio fitted!
Was bought 1-1-83 by the original owner,then,in 1985,was purchased by my mates Great Aunt,who had it until recently.All the service books,owners handbook etc,all old tax discs,and somewhere,all the old MOT certificates back to when she took ownership.
Picking it up tomorrow,and straight down to the MOT station-fingers crossed!!

Memberships worth getting if your gunna be doing any work to it tbh mate saved me over £40 last year.

My Golf C also still has no radio either…nothing ever fitted in 30 years, ha ha. The bonus is there's no dodgy DIY wiring behind the dash and no DIY speaker holes badly butchered into the doorcards like some. As for added extras, the less you have, the less there is to go wrong! Get some pics up when you get it home.  :wink:

Well,the good news,she passed!!!
Havent had much time to drive it since Thursday,quite a lot of unexpected stuff going on at the minute,but will add lots of pics when I get time.
