New Sportline

Thought I would share some photos of my new Mk 1 Sportline. Just got it last week and took off the too low coilovers and put it back to standard.

New tyres, refurb alloys, tracking, new stereo and full pro buff all coming in the next few weeks.

Took a while to get a decent one and with a wee bit time and money it should be a nice original car, good thing is only 93000 on clock with FSH.

Just wondering where you got the standard springs? Was there a colour code on them? (splash of paint on each?)

Sorry cant help, got them with the car last week and the garage just put them back on, only briefly looked at them and they were bilsteins.

Standard height is great for all the speed bumps and pot holes but might drop it 30 or 40mm in future for the look. Car was too low before raising it you couldnt even turn steering too much without it rubbing arches.
