new southwest member

hello peps,thought id come say hello, and what an awsome site you do have,
 ive had several vws before and have 3 at the moment but just jioned the mrk1 era again, picked me up a 1988 clipper cab in black, on saturday :mrgreen: , brought if off ebay and the ad was a bit vaige to say the least but got it cheap so was willing to take a chance, it had be stood up for 2 years and looked pretty doggy, so was thinking a winter project,  well, when i got it home and gave it a clean up it was alot better than first thought, so i thought i would pop it in for an mot and see what happened,  it passed with 1 advisery, headlamp aim low    what more can i say, 94k on the clock, as new roof, crystal lights, oh yes i am loving it, body work needs a little love but in general it is solid, will get some picks up soon, maybe start a resto tread soon, well moving house on the 22 dec so going to be abit mad for the next couple of months but after that get it sorted for summer

hi mate welscome to the site ! theres loads of helpful guys on here and quite a few south west users on here too
if youre local to bristol theres a few of us meeting at cribbs causeway on sunday for a catch up feel free to pop along if you wanna meet some of us
