New newbie who knows nothing :(
I can't say I have been a fan forever, because I would be lying, but I do like something a bit interesting.
We had an old early Bay VW camper for a few years (until the rust got too much) and when my car blew up there was nothing interesting on my drive. So I considered thoroughly what I needed out of a new car.
Point 1. Must be reliable as I have a new Job
Point 2. Ideally with low mileage as the new job involves lots of driving
Point 3. Must be suitable for outdoor life (we don't have a garage or any shelter)
Point 4. Must not be a rust bucket as I live practically on a beach and the salt air will kill it.
Point 5. Must be small (I hate big cars) and cheap to tax/insure Ideally 1000cc or under
So I looked at new cars and older cars and then fell in love with this little black cabrio (seems huge after my old car) which has 188,000 miles on the clock. Am I crazy? quite possibly, but I love it, she is certainly quirky and puts a smile on my face every time I get in her
Anyway, I have yakked enough for now.
Yak xx
