New Mk1 Owner

Hello all,
i recently bought my first Mk1 Golf. Its a 1980 cabrio Gli. wicked car, really wanna make a mark on it and try and get it bk to its glorious best. In great condition for a 30 year old car.

nice aprt of the country for a golf, especially a softtop

Im gonna stick some nice wheels on it but other than that im just gonna put it bk to standard. Ive destroyed one car by being a young boy racer, not gonna mess around with this classic. lol
will get pics up (as soon as ive read how to do it, im horrendous with computers!).

I had 1980 GLi years ago, is it black with a grey roof?

Na I'm sorry to say it's not it's blue with black roof.
This whole pictures thing seems very confusing however i am a borderline simpleton when it comes to that sort of thing!
Ohh and by the way… Broke down yesterday, 5 days not bad hahaha
