New Mk1 Owner South West
My name is Nathan, live near Castle Combe which is kind of by Bath if you don't know.
Im 21, love cars and run a website called Defintive which can be found at www.servingtodefine.co.uk.
On the site we feature car's attend lots of shows and write reviews about them on the blog. There are lots of VW shows from the year on their at the moment for you to check out.
Had lots of VAG car's now ranging from MK2 GTI's, Jetta GTI's, Boras and Audi's but the one ive always wanted since I was a little boy was a MK1.
Every car ive had has been worked on by me and my family. From changing wheels to stripping and rebuilding engines in our old air cooled dubs we have done it all.
Recently while driving around in my (boring) Audi A4 I at 21 had a moment of crisis and decided it was time to finally find a MK1 of my own.
After looking around for abit and not being able to decide if I should go for a standard GTI or something different I came across a MK1 ABF converted little gem.
You will have probably seen her on here before or on other forums as the owners were members. Two great people who couldn't of been nicer about the sale.
So finally ive got myself a MK1.
She is a 1982 german import. Originally a 1500 GL but now a 2.0 16V GL
Had lots and lots done and has been used as a daily and a cruiser.
I intend to just change little bits and bobs and use her as a weekend/summer night and track day car when the mood takes me.
I look forward to hanging out on the forum and getting to know you guys.
Thank You
Nathan

The car was on ebay yeah, think it being LHD put alot of people off but i knew the owner from another forum and knew the car.
Thanks for the invite to tag along and come on the stand with you, me and the other half would love to if thats ok?
