New Mk1 Owner saying hi!

Hi all, just want to introduce me and my mk1 golf driver. She's a white 83 with 106 on the clock. Bodywise she looks pretty solid. only a bit of rust under the front passanger wing but nothing really major that i can see.



Thats the only pic i have at the moment but i will be out taking some more at the weekend if the weather is nice.

I have quite a few plans for it.

Also owning 2 mk2's one which is currently sorn, i plan to transplant the engine from it into the mk1.

The engine i have to put in is a 16v RE 1900 GTI Engineered engine.

Will be rebuilding it first before it goes into the car.

I am sure i will be posting quite frequently on here now picking peoples brains and asking for advice.
