new mk1 owner needing advice

Hi All, im collecting my mk1 gti tomorrow after finally realising im too old to keep smashing myself to bits on motox bikes! its not a mint show car but i hope to improve it slowly over the next year and attend some shows. i wanted to know the best place for sourcing both new and used parts as they seem thin on the ground compared to when i was reading max power in the early 90's! any help and advice appreciated.
