New Mk1 owner in Canada

Hey guys and girls
My name is Jared im from Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada and im new to your forum.
so im a brand new owner of a 1983 mk1 rabbit 4dr. here she is as i found her and took her home









i picked her up for $250 canadian or 187Eur or 162GBP so i thought it was a rather great deal.
im excited to get the rust fixed up and repainted and ill have to order some bbs wheels from europe to slap on it. i really want a set of split wheels and they dont sell them here. so if anyone knows of a great place to buy rims from that will ship to canada let me know.
Here is my daily driver a 2005 dodge Srt-4 with 380hp its a rather fun car to drive.

welcome to club ,mk1 has nice potential keep up the progress pics ..... some nice toys you have ,,,,might feel like your in reverse though driving mk1 compared to the dodge ....

Not used to seeing the front of the American and Canadian "Rabbits"… are some flush with square lights and some the indicators wrap round like yours?  The dash also looks completely different.  If your two other vehicles are anything to go by it's going to look stunning mate!!!  Hope it goes well for you and the parts aren't too hard to get a hold of.
