HI EVERYONE,JUST BOUGHT A MK1 TODAY FROM A FELLOW USER OF THIS SITE.Y PLATE ,ALPINE WHITE,VERY ORIGINAL CAR,LOTS BEEN DONE TO IT TO KEEP IT RUNNING OTHERWISE STANDARD TO LOOK AT.HAS PIRELLI PS ON,COILOVERS.STANDARD EXHAUST.WELL WORTH THE ?975 AND 12 MONTHS TEST.LOTS OF BILLS/INVOICES.CRACKING SITE BY THE WAY,VERY VERY HELPFUL.LOOKING FORWARD TO MK1 OWNERSHIP,ITS ONLY A WEEKEND TOY AND HOPEFULLY AN ONGOING RESTORATION PROJECT.ANY NORTH EAST MEMBERS ON HERE.CHEERS,DAVE.

yeah,the last owner has spent abit on it keeping it running.lots of bills and invoices.even had a cat 1 alarm fitted.drives well for the mileage.box full of bits and bobs,and im going back down to get a spare pass.door and tailgate.

got a good insurance quote sorted today for it,?130 on a classic car policy,i have access to 2 other vehicles and the car is garaged,over 25,low mileage use.cheapest i got online was ?236.also got a haynes manuel off ebay to start tinkering.been in the garage for an hour tonight fitting deeper front spoiler, the prev.owner gave me with the car and a general look over to plan some jobs and partslist.
