welcome, this is the best forum ever for mk1 golf related items and many not mk1 related things.

look in the for sale section and see if there is anything that takes your fancy. and if you have a spare weekend next week swing by coombe abbey and meet us all. (see the top of this page for detais!)

Welcome Queeny!!!

I know of a red, small bumper cabriolet coming up for sale any day now (no its not mine!!).

Its an 'X' reg, 1800i, with black interior, a few mods but nothing that can't be changed back relatively cheaply.

The guy is asking around ?1500 but will probably be open to reasonable offers. I can get you pictures and it may be at Coombe Abbey next weekend.

Welcome to the site.  Like others said the AGM would be an idea time to check out the mk1's and see exactly what you want in the car.  I looked at the last AGM (Billing) and got some really good advice and could see what sort of things I liked.

Anyway good luck with your search

Does this fit you wallet? Yes there are some small mods but nothing that can't be changed back to standard should you wish to.
