just joined cos this site looks more sensible than most i've sniffed around. My Golf is an 82 GTI totally standard looking (apart from sebrings) v.torquey 2.0 litre 8 valve motor and 280mm discs , does that mean i'm not welcome here ??

On the sensible side…watch out for Kins and Walt, they can drag you down a blind alley with a seemingly serious point only to ambush you with either a gerbil or some cast off item from Dubgrrrrl!!!

If you use Photo Storage | Photobucket you can show the pics here, and they'll be re-sized to 150kb by the photobucket's site, so users with 56k dial-up connections will still like you :wink:

I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday
