Have just joined up recently, having purchased an '83 Campaign.
It has a set of nice BBS rims, which look real good, and at some point someone changed the grill to a single headlight unit.
If anyone knows where I can pick up an original  twin grill please let me know.
Apart from that, it has all the other features.

I live in N. Ireland, and if anyone knows of a good meet in Ireland for MK 1's please fill me in.
This site has been a fantastic help, and a great source of information.

By the way I probably have a used grille    - you'll only need the centre.  Sorry don't have any Campaign fogs available

There has been a meeting in Limerick (…down Mexico way! - that's "south of the border", for the rest of you…) once a year, for all Golfs (not just Mk1s), but mine have been off the road recently (see pic in signature), so I'm not sure if it still takes place. You might try looking on www.vage.ie , mainly for meets south of the border, and with the emphasis on modified cars. I think that there may be a NI meet under the umbrella of Club GTI ( www.clubgti.co.uk )
