Hello- I have just registered with you because I am looking for a Mk.1 and thought, as you have such a good reputation, I would introduce myself. I already run a Mk.1 Scirocco, so have some idea of the superb mechanical nature of these cars- I have always wanted a sound two-door Golf, though- GTi preferably. I figured that, instead of just using your site to source a car and not subscribe, I ought to try and get to know some owners first, join up properly and look for something that way- so any potential seller knows that I think a lot of these cars and any one I buy would be going to a good home!
