i OWN A 1983 Black Golf Campaign. I've had it for about 8 years where it has done no more than 400 yards since buying it going from a trailor to the paint shop and back by trailor to my garage, where it has been sheltered for years. But alas i've finally came into some money and a helpful friend to rebuild the machine back to its glory, minus a few rare parts that i cant get for life or money. The car had a good amount of money spent on the engine before i bought it with being fully stripped, gas flowed and ported. Its also done no miles since too, so i'm just raring to FINALLY get my teeth into it and start by making it water tight and road worthy so i can get it on the road. know doubt i might be pestering you guys for info on this sacred car and finding outabt whts betfor it too.
look forard to catchin up with you's

Took Some Pics
Thanks for the nice welcome, I've been at the car sorting out what i've got and what i need, took a new battery and some petrol and started it for the first time in 4 years, and yep it fired up first time. Oh bring it on. I've made a list off the stuff i've got and need but priority just now is making it water tight, so i'm especially looking for a sunroof outer seal as mine is perished, also front windscreen as it's a campaign its got to have the tinted glass but i know there hard come by so i'd consider a clear one with the option still open to replace. I'm also looking for driver and passenger door rubbers. If anyone can help or point us in the right direction, would be obliged. cheers all , P.S. HOW Do I ADD PHOTO's took some 2day but new to this format. cheers
