i'm a new member up here in scotland
my first car was a mark 1 diesel conversion…..if u could call it converted!
I now find myself the proud owner of a 1990 clipper
The downside is that it needs a new roof and a paint job…..oh and a set of appropriate alloys.
The carpets need to be refitted and the seats could do with a shampoo
so if any of you guys have any good advice for me ahead of this running project please feel free to educate me!!
cheers

Ditto Andy re the roof guide
Hubby replaced mine last summer and it was invaluable. Doesn't think he would have been able to do half as good job without.
Good luck

Check out this ebay shop
It's in America and the prices look VERY good.
We're likely going to use them when SP replaces Rach's roof this year

Also check Soft-tops.co.uk. They are advertising mohair hoods on ebay at the moment for ?175 - their website states ?225.
I've just had a quote of ?275 fitted for a vinyl or ?325 fitted for a Mohair hood, will be booking it as soon as i've sussed an appropriate date. On the downside, they are based in Croydon, bit of a trek from scotland, but they might be worth it for supply if you are going to fit yoursel?
