New member with Mk1 Golf - Sort of

Hi

New member with not quite the right car and starting with a question - not the best way to start!

I have a Mk1 caddy pickup so not technically a golf but close enough!

I am after a specialist in Mk1's in or near Manchester. My normal mechanic doesn't really understand the caddy so looking for someone who does.

My car is 1984 caddy recently rebuilt and sprayed in white. It has been lowered using a flipped axel, 1 in lowering blocks, beetle shocks and coilovers on the front. It has a gti engine and 5 speed box, mk1 interior with I believe vw corrado seats. This is my daily driver and mountain bike transporter.

I love the caddy!!! Want one still! I can recommend Martin at Vagtech in irlam (0161) 777 8797 or vagtechnik in Eccles. 07793 054392 http://www.vagtechnik.co.uk they both worked on my mk2 golf GTi when I had it and they know their stuff.
