Hey people I'm new on here just thought I'd say hi
I own a 1983 mars red 1.1 soon to be a monster.
20v turbo engine bam block agu head and gt28 rs turbo
With custom manifold
I'm a fabricator and have a company called Yapfab I make/prepare race cars and parts
Anyway glad to be on here hope I can learn a few new tips about my car
as its my first vw let alone a mk1 golf

What part of London are you in as there is a mk1 meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month near Maidenhead.

That's not far from me mate my missis lives in Farnham common I might have to pop on down

And as for photos I will get some posted up of some of my old cars and ones I've worked on

Well the car is a bare she'll no engine box interior dash wiring nothing
I've got 2 genuine front wings from my mate tony at paynes body technik and I'm toying with a mk4 golf dash I've cut it down and it's in the hole but not as I want it yet

As for the engine it's going in on all the mk4 mounts and cable shift box full on race cage with a remote pedal box
Digital dash and autronic management system
Car should be an easy and reliable 300hp

Just need to get my finger out in moving all my garage over to maidenhead as it goes so I will have more space to do a lot more I will do a new thread with all pictures from start to finish ok man I'll let you know with a pm
