New girl

Hello everyone!
My name is Soph and I have just become the proud owner of my Blk Mk1 Cabby GTI. She std and in wonderful condition..only done 43,000 miles! She was a joint 21st bday present from my dad and uncle who both love VW, and i am sure will be spending hours tending to her with me!
Anyway I am based in both Manchester and Bristol and keen to get out and meet some other people who love thier Mk1 as much as me..my childhood dream has finally come true!

Yeah the engine is orginal..she has only had two owners and been sat in the last ownners garage for years..so a pretty good find!

No pics yet, but as soon as this rubbish manchester weather pick up I shall take some pic of me and my lady…whats yours?

roof looks to be comin along nice as well

im taking it to all types, so you will see it,

as for the roof, shop gave me wrong shade it looks craem so need money for more paint
i have a gear box if need 1
