its going to be a project but i made sure that the body was good with no rust so im not going to have to deal with that. i am however planning to possibly take apart the whole car to the body and to an entire paint job so it all matches and that way ill have the experiance of taking it all apart and ill find my way around them easier. the only thing stopping me is that i heard that white ones pre 80's are rare but im not so sure.

Welcome! Yes, Alpine White S1 GTis (pre 81) are pretty rare. They were only sold in Germany as far as I know. Is yours a personal import? Can't wait to see pics!

not sure where it came from, when i pick it up ill explore. i know that the paint is white all round. the interior is also black leather that is apperently original. amazing. its so nice that i question the guy when he says that its not reupholstered the only problem is that i have to buy the for back inside pannels.

Be careful, no GTi hatch came with leather so it must be a retrim.

thats what i thought. but it does look nice. at least that way i can find four back panells and have them match and not have to find original ones. im planning to probably sell them anyways, if i have a full set than i can sell it for more and find a more original interior.
