I'm halfway between Portsmouth and Southampton, although a little closer to Pompey (that sign in the background talks of Fareham Borough Council). The rear spoiler might be growing on me; I gave all the trim a going over with some Back to Black and it improved things greatly, even that thing stuck to the back of my car. I'll be sure to mention on here if I get sick of it though

I think I might stick with going slow for now; there's a strange kudos in it, which is like going quickly, but more laughable. It's almost the antithesis of modern car culture, which is good for me as my push bike cost 5 (five) times what I spent on my car (no joke) and probably costs more to maintain. Pootling about also seems to have more of that 1981 air to it, which is sort of the style I was buying into in the first place.
Let me know if there's any south-coast meets happening, I'll be keen to come along and have a look at what everyone else down here is doing with their cars.
