New Car

Hi all, very recently signed up, I've been given a Christmas Cabriolet for free from a mate, I enquired about gear linkages, (Wouldn't go into gear)

As the car was in Jersey and I'm in Scotland I had to fly over and drive it back.

Well all is well and it made it home, Its an 86 CC edition, 2 owners (1 for 20 years) and only 58K!

Needs MOT'D/TAX'D Etc

Just started cleaning it, Ill get pics up tommorow for your opinions, It's the girlfriends car, but I love it and Ill have a go here and there aswelll as looking after it.

Yeah, was lucky, it's not mint, got plenty of potential, still has the original brake pipes and there not rotten! Took the plastic arches off and cleaned it all out today, waxoyled etc, theres some rot on the rear arches (hidden by trim) Eventually have new arches. It's got a fair amount of history and is tight to drive.

Can't believe the old girl got me from Jersey to Central Scotland (550 Miles) didn't miss a beat.

Theres no MOTs in Jersey, so could be interesting to see what it needs, having never had one in 23 years.
