New bird on the block

Hello my names Bev, Owned my Golf GTi cabby (Karmen) since about 1998 my gorgeous girls 22 years old this year born in 1988. I think a new roof is the next big item I'll have to get done, I've just got a couple of tiny tears on the drivers side above the door, still only leaks in a bit when the windows down and it's raining so can't grumble! Any info on roof specialist in the north west area would be gratefully received. Sje's also just passed her MOT with only new brake pads needed, not bad for 138,000 miles!!
Just got back from our first AGM at Uttoxeter, went on the rally through lovely Matlock and Bakewell, well done to the organisers.
Hope to go to more meets now we know what to expect

Couple of things, regards your roof enquiry Car Hoods Northern offer members discount and they're just up the road from you in Lymm  
And the NW are having a run out to Blackpool Illuminations 3rd Sept, why not come along the more the merrier, check the thread out in Regional section.

Go to Staffs VW website, they meet near to Trentham Gardens once each month, I'll get me daughter Emma to ping you a message with details of their next meeting, they are all gathering at Little Chef near to Radway Green next Sunday morning (6.30am !!) and goin in convoy to Tatton Park meeting.

Emma drives Lola, a gleeeeeaming black Gti Cabby slammed to  a golf ball stopping height and with a new mohair roof we got for a oner off ebay and a bloke from near to Eccleshall fitted it for her for 120 spots.

She would love to see and speak to you and so would the rest of the crowd, good bunch of characters but a bit too noisey for me  :wheelchair:

Emma is the only girl with a mk1 in the crowd so would love the girl power show of support I know she would.

Sorry i've not been onthe website for ages & only just noticed all my messages, Thank you all for taking the time to email me   I did replace my hood by northern hoods who did an amazing job. I will post some pics of my little monkey.
