very nice not sure about the tailgate but each to there own. like the tidy engine bay. what engine is that? it looks like a gti but it has a carb so i guess a 1.8 with the cam belt cover off.

Hello & Welcome Aboard! not seen a smoothed tailgate on a mk1 in a while! 8)

i really dont like the tailgate so its gotta go got a new original style one to put on when shes running

it is a 1.8 hubby spent hours taking engine to bits n cleaning it all up making it all look as good as possible he takes a lot of pride in his work still got a lot to do though

Looks nice June, agree about tailgate tho..

That smooth back end looks different , i like it , individual .
