Mk1 owner New Today

Hello to everyone on the website, i have been coming on the web site for a while for information which has been really helpfull. I own a Mk1 golf gti convertable. Its white and has multispoke oz alloys. Appart from that i know nothing yet but its in really nice condition, i am just at the learning stage. It has come with a zender body kit on it and the front grill is in poor condition. I bought a mk2 5 slat grill off ebay the other day but i am totaly unsure on how to fit it. It means converting from 4 lamps at the front to two. Can anyone help me? Cheers

Is the front grill the zender one ? Piccies of the car owuld be good to see.

Zender grills are pretty hard to find now, the odd one appears on Ebay and not for much money normally.
