MK1 Golf racer from Wirral

Hi - have been racing a MK2 for the last couple of years despite coming 3rd 0/a and 4th o/a in the championship I got fed up travelling all around the country from the Wirral and wanted to concentrate on local circuits like Outon, Anglesey & Mallory !!! so now bought the ex West End Engineering and ex VW Cup Mk1. Spec includes full multi point cage with Ledas all round with a 020 box and LSD -the engine is Ian Carvell bottom end topped off with a Dave Chrissell Pac D head Schrick cam and twin 45 webers - am hoping for around 175 bhp and plenty of torque. Am running in the CSCC Future Classics and will be out at Brands early May with Anglsey late May and Oulton early June.
If you are about then just pop over and say hello ….but not 2 minutes before qualy or race as i may be just a bit busy !
