MK1 Golf Newbie. Best for insurance

Hi im about to buy a mk1 golf gti. Was just like to know whos best go with/ cheapest for me. I am 19 years of age. Help would be apreciated.

Hello there if you become a paid member you can get discount try footman james im with adrian flux and have been for a few years they match quotes from other companys so never had to move from them and they have always been really good to deal with

As above really, and the advantage of becoming a paid member is that you get a while load of other discounts from parts to interior, and trust me ANY discount is good because you are going to need parts if you're buying a mk1!

My Mk1 baby is insured with Sureterm £225 per year fully comp, I am 31 but iv only been driving 3 years….hope this helps

First of all, welcome to the club.

This is a question that gets asked over and over again.

There is no insurance company thats going to be good for everyone.

The best thing you can do is phone as many companys as you can.

There are people on here that have got really cheap insurance with footman james but when I phoned them they wanted a fortune.

In the end I spent a morning phoning loads of companys untill I got a good deal.
