Mk1 golf cabriolet 1.6 Automatic 1986

Im a total novice with golfs, I was originally and still am I guess a beetle fan but wanted something more retro/reliable

Got it a couple weeks ago no tax or test and a quite a few bits missing but nearly got it together. Will be taking it for it's mot next week so fingers crossed. I bought it for £400 plus £75 delivery not sure what it's worth when in almost mint.

When I got it

I just got some 14inch g60 styre wheels that are mint so will fit them for mot. All needs doing now it change the flexi brake pipes and bleed it.

Put the passenger seat back together ( rip repair). Then it's going for mot so will be on the road v soon stalking the streets of sheffield so watch out ;-)

MOT time!

Was pretty sure they were going to fail my car but it's got only 2 minor advisories.

Whoop Whoop, Just had a new hood fitted and taxed it so it's ready for cruising haha.

Sounds like the gaskets want replacing and an oil change, I had bad oil leak on the gearbox and the sump. The gearbox is alot harder to change the gaskets whilst in the car, I got fed up and took it out completely and did it that way.
