Mk1 golf 1978 valuation

Hi all, I am new to this site but would be grateful if anybody could tell me what a 1978 mk1 golf is worth.
Its my aunties and she has had it since new and has jus been kept in the garage ever since she stopped driving 15years ago.
All I know it's original and it's not a GTI but is in good condition.She wants it out of the way and told me I could have it .
