Mk1 Clipper convertable

Hi everyone. I married my wife 2 1/2 years ago and arranged with a good friend of ours for her to be taken to the registry office in his Mk1 Clipper convertable on Pirelli alloys and coilovers.

I always told her that I would buy it for her 1 day and the opportunity came up just before Christmas so I stretched the Christmas purse to buy it for her  

My wife has named the car Mabel (?) There are a few bits that need doing to it as my mate had not used it as much over the last year as he usually did but it is taxed, insured and MOT'd and we cannot wait for the weather to pick up slightly so we can drive it with the top down.

I'll upload some pictures as soon as I can and will been keen for some help as this is the first convertable I/we have owned

Oh by the way we have a regional meet on the first Tuesday of every month in IKEA car park (winter months or the Caldecot arms pub in summer).  Pop along and introduce yourself.
