LHD Sportline or not????

Can anyone tell me how to identify a lhd Mk1 golf sportline? I purchased from France and have been told it's a sportline but I'm not sure if it is can anyone help please

Ok
Things like the paint code.
There is a build sticker on the rear cross member that runs across the back of the car in the boot.
Your colour is either black or flash red.
You should have Recarro seats with the black red jacquard design.
Black carpets, black vinyl roof if it's still on the car.
Usually also a euro spec steering wheel three spoke with a red band on the lower spoke.

It should also have sportline decals on the lower quarters near the wheel arch and swage line.

Oh right it has nothing like that, just has power steering, black vinyl roof with black headliner

The first easy step.. the Color: only in red or black unicolour are oem Sportlines painted..
Than the vin number..

You can the the color at the enginebay.. def a color of a oem fashionline..

The steeringwheels, seats.., etc..

It's the same colour as that inside the engine bay and where the spare wheel goes so I'm assuming it's a fashionline, thanks for your help

Its a later car with the digifant injection system.
