Your old Cabby looks nice too!

Hello Guys,
Its been a little while since I last posted…

Quick Update:

So I have changed my plan… Decided to put a Pd150 engine in Instead of the 1.8t/20v) with a 6 speed box, also found out the engine that was inside was a 1.8 carb with a 4 speed not a 1.4 like registered.

Removed the old engine, and had to cut of the wings as they were welded on! then spent about two weeks sorting out rust (the engine legs and the front panel and sorted out the bulk head) So now the new engine mounts are in (used the mk4 mounts) and the bay has been seam welded (for support from the torque) and kinda smoothed so is looking very neat after a lick of paint, the engines back in and the wiring loom has been finished and its just a case of wiring it into the car and fabricating a down pipe, the loom converts the old clocks to work and the pedal box is out of a g60 Corrado.

Upgraded the front brakes, arb and suspension, same with the rear end upgraded the breaks and suspension, new fuel system including new fuel lines and tank,, went with a cable accelerator (Mk2 1.3) for now and hydraulic clutch. also installed upgraded front lights and headlight loom. The underneath has had some welding done and a lick of wax oil.

So left to finish:
Wiring
Downpipe
Fault Find ;)
New Hood (I want to go black)
Alloys Refurbished (snow flakes, Chrome, Midnight Purple inserts)
New interior carpet
re-trim the seats and door cards
Finally re-spray the whole car black

Ill make a new post soon and get the build in with all the pictures.
