HELLO!
I picked this up on New Years Eve from Shewsbury (from S. Wales) and experienced the most stressful trip of my life to begin with but now we have sorted the knackered choke cable and only HAVE TINY ISSUES YAY! (the first picture was taken by previous owner, all washing and detailing is done by me and by hand!!!! never at supermarkets!!!)
Anyway i have joined this forum after selling my mk2 golf

But i firmly believe i have upgraded

Hiya!
I'm in the Newport area. I see the odd few knocking about!
I bought this because aesthetically it's everything I want it to be, I'm keeping it as is. Just trying to catch up on the general maintenance the previous owner didn't quite manage to which is a bit of a shame!

I will happily even on the cold days!
It hasn't stopped raining though and I've nowhere dry to sort all the niggly bits out so it's just sat looking beautiful at the moment!
It's killing me!

That happened to me Anna, but with a group of VW owners. As they passed me I got the 'forefinger & pinkie' hand signal from each car - but being an old fart I had to find out its a gesture of 'respect' or so I'm told by a young dude - so I reckon I'm cool now! LOL!

Enjoy your car - I'm gagging to get started on mine.

So far so good! Thanks pal!!
It's going to VW for a chap that knows them better than me (it's all about who you know!!) for a good check up so I can keep this as sweet as possible and don't have any nasty surprises!!!

Woo hoo another cabby owner from wales! I'm not too far from yourself, Pontypridd way. I'm in same situation as you can't wait to get out in the sun with the roof down. Bought mine last July been garaged all this time! :(
