Just thought I'd say hello!

HI everyone

I've just bought myself an 87 GTI karmen cabrio which I'm hoping to use as my little project so thought this club sounded ideal. Car's in good nick but a few little things need doing as always (pinking a bit and the fuel pump is whirring so needs replacing,typical!) but it gives me a nice restoration project.

Never had a VW before and concentrated on mk1 mx5s previously but as i've now got a little lad i've had to spot with the two seater scene and get something a little more practical, BUT FUN.

I'll no doubt be a pain asking questions over the next few months and i'll get some picks on here soon, but hello to everyone to start with.
