Just saying hi!!
New to all this!
I've been really cheeky and the first thing I've done is post an ad for my show on the events forum, so thought I'd better have some manners and say hello!
A bit about me.
My daily driver is a white Mk1 Cab which was my ebay bargain last year. I was so missing my silver blue Cab that had been off the road for a while (and still is) that hubby found me a new baby!
My step daughter just bought one too, and luckily hubby is a dab hand and can now rebuild Mk1 engines (and esp gearboxes) in his sleep……and luckily he loves it!!
I've been checking out the albums and some of the forums, and this looks like a superb site, so I won't only be using it as free advertising - honest guv!!
Looking forward to being part of this

Nice to meet you!
Our event is a new one in Essex.
Its called VWs@MHS (MHS being the school I work for)
Its on 9th April with camping night before. A laid back, relaxing family show.
Air and Water cooled, but I've got to get a few more Mk1s in, my co-organiser is a bus boy and I need to balance things out a bit!!!

Yes Phil, you are reading that absolutely right. ?3 gets you and your motor in and a free bacon butty and cup of tea or coffee AND you get a commemorative plaque.
Sounds like we might be starting a trend for bacon butties at VDub shows!!
And thanks for your kind wishes Dubgrrl, nice to know that we're getting known.

Thank you so much!!
Thanks for putting the link on the caddy forum. (My hubby is desperate for a caddy. We didn't even know about the forum - now we'll be arguing over the laptop!)
It would be brilliant to see as many golfs and caddies as poss at the show.
Any chance you guys could come with a club stand? Whoever is the chief organiser gets to come for free and still gets a free buttie!!!
And if you want to camp It's only ?10 for you and your passengers including your entry, and if you book and pay in advance (by 31st March) it's only ?7! And you can then buy advance entry tickets for your passengers for only ?2 each!
