hey guys, just joined up been in the vw scene ever since i started driving and my dream car has always been the mk1 golf gti only just getting to the age were i can afford one so will be looking eagerly next year for a very nice example. then let the shows begin.

Come along to the meets mate.  Ideal place to meet people and get advice.  Worth getting as much advice as you can and it's good to "see" exactly what to check for on someone elses car.
