just got myself a 1988 white golf gti cabby.i love it and all I need now is it to stop raining for more than 5 mins

taking it for a service tomorrow anyone have any tips.im having a new cam belt fitted and all the usual stuff.\

Depending on when they were done last I'd be doing:

Oil and filter change ( get a new copper sump plug washer too)
Dizzy cap & rotor arm
Fuel Filter
Spark Plugs
