just collected my mk1 ebay bargain

easter friday,
did nobody see me? the second half of my 12 hour epic journey was spent towing my new 1981 BR green mk1 cab on a trailer from LUTON back here to beautiful north wales. someone must have seen me losing me trailer pulling virginity with my new ebay bargin in tow???????
a long trip ( at 60mph! ) but an epic way to start my life as a mk1 owner/carer
well I've had the mk1 for 4 days now. spent alot of time exploring the car.
looks amazingly original, and unpeverted. advet said it had 14 previous owners ( RET464X ) were you one? car as a whole good, however I have found some rust bolted onto some more rust!!! engine runs very well though, so hopefully it will just be some rust holes fixing for the MOT. most rubbers are perished around the doors etc, but iv just seen some on GPC so thats promising. can't wait to get the car mot'd and on the road!!!
