You lot are going to think i am made, I have not even seen the car yet, but it is a good deal. I am swapping it for a Laptop!!

Basically the car has been in my mates family since 1985, he has had it for 1 week and has nowhere to park it, so, having known it has been owned by a mechanic too i know that side should be fine. Body has been kept fairly rot free though i believe there has been some 'home' painting going on, not too bothered about that though as long as it is solid. Either way it seems a good opportunity to get rid of an infuriating computer and own the best Mk1 :D

I am in Stourbridge.

Photos when i get them.

Paint has seen better days, but the patchy home paint work has protected it enough to make the car both orginal and solid in all the right places with most of its original features remaining.

Welcome to the clan!  :D

That looks a nice foundation to make a cracking show car! A bit of elbow grease and it`ll be as good as new….

Keep us all informed of future progress  :D

Stay out of the black…
 And into the red….

Yeah will do, I am pleased with it and hope to get started on it soon, its sitting outside at my mums house at the moment which is not ideal so could do with investing in a car cover.
