It's about time

Hi guy's and gal's,
Im Mark for those of you that dont know me.  I have been into my my mk1's since my first one at 16 years old.  Yieks, im gonna be 28 this year and i still love them now more then ever.  I thought it was about time i got involved on a mk1 dedicated site.  So bonjourno peeps and well done on what seems to be a great club.  I thought i would post up some pics of my current mk1 and a couple of others i have found photos of.  I have owned 5 of them since my first and just cant get enough of them.  My current car is the ex Marcco Hager son of god machine. lol.  I changed the wheels and interior but have since decided to get crazy with it.  Its looking a bit sorry for its self at the moment short of engine, wheels and soon to be removed dash.  Some say im crazy but i'm just making the car the way i want it.  I have spared no expense on what will for me be the perfect mk1 when im done.  Any ways hope to make some new friends with some folks that also share my passion for mk1's so figured this will be the best place.  Enjoy the pics.











This was my black GTI.  Mk2 digifant engine re-built, 140bhp.  Ferrari 360 front seats.  Genuine!!  And that was 5 years ago.  Decked on the p's.  Used to spark out every where.  Loved it.









This was my inari silver 5 door i had last year as my daily.  I stripped it down to re-build it as a g60 but the silver has absorbed so much money now i just couldn't do both so sold the shell.

nice motors i love those inaris, one of the best colours i reckon. is that a soarer i see in the background there? i have one for when i wanna go cruising in a bit of comfort the missus loves it.

Yeah, the soarer is my mates.  He loves drifting it and also has a fat mk1 16v.  Inari silver is such a great period colour.
