Hi all, I'm relatively new to this GTI scene and was wondering of anyone knows of any good GTI clubs/contacts in Ireland?

Also fuel problem with my mk1 GTI cabrio 1988 - no fuel coming in to the filter from the tank, Im thinking its the pump, relay or alarm, does anyone have any hints or tips on how to troubleshoot it?

Have u checked the filler neck for rust first??? as they normally rust through, and rust gets stuck in the fuel lines, if thats fine, also the fuel pump relay tend to go also, so check that, failing that the fuel pump itself??? good luck!

btw got the fuel flowing again, the relay was burnt out and actually melted around one of the pins, I think it was a loose connection, funnily the hazards relay and the water level relay seem to be suffering bad connections also!! a bit worrying!!!
