Im New, Hi

Hi All,
Not sure if posts are delayed, or if I'm not doing something right… but thought I would try again.  Im from United States, and live in the Mojave Desert. Most would identify the area as Las Vegas, Nevada.  My new hobby car is a 1976 VW Rabbit (Golf). 30 years ago I had a similiar 75 Rabbit, and I'm enjoying the trip down memory lane.

Welcome to the site, looks a tidy car.
The bumpers are huge, US spec I take it, would look cool with some early European spec ones !!

Cheers,
Ade

Welcome mate

Your car looks lovely but agree with Ade, a set of smaller euro bumpers would look great

So it appears there are 3 types of Euro bumpers.
1.  Thin, straight with bumper ends
2.  Thin with a wrap around look. Bumpers end infront of wheel well.
3.  Clipper kit, Convertable

Do these bumpers come on different year euro Golfs, if so … What years?

Your car looks great mockman very rare to see one like that in  the U.K. or Europe.Us petrolheads over here tend to dislike the U.S. spec big bumpers fitted to most cars over your way. That "air conditioning " compresser looks big under that "hood" bet it saps power and fuel guess you need it though in your "sunny climate" We would be pushed to find anything as good as that in unrestored condition here.
