Hi everyone from down in devon have had my mk1 for just two years and resently took her off the road for a full restoration witch isnt going to well at the moment so joined for a bit of inspiration and mabe some advice if its not to much trouble  

Welcome, pop some pictures up of the mk1. Where abouts in Devon are you? I'm split between Falmouth and Tavistock so might be able assist with some very limited skills. Also devondubshack in ivybridge is a fairly useful place for bits if you are down south

Thanks for the welcome folks im down near Torquay had a look threw a fue build threads aha gives some hope lol will post up the story so far when I get 5 mintes with a fue pictures hopefully I can get some info on the car if thers previous owners on here as its bean threw a lot of hands 

There may well be some old posts knocking about on here too. That may help out a bit.
Get some pics up and a build thread started in the projects section. Sounds like you've got ideas bouncing around all ready though.

When you get her back on the road you'll have to pop down to one of the Cornish Meets.
 
If you get really stuck give us a yell and we'll pop up and pint and make silly suggestions and that sucking noise through the teeth that means at a garage it's gonna cost loads
