Hi to one and all!!

Hi everyone!

My name is Chris I'm up in the NE of Scotland and I just bought myself a '93 Black Sportline Cabriolet. Got her down in Essex after looking for a black one for god knows how long - it was a helluva drive back (bout 600miles in all)!! She need a wee bit TLC but it wont be long before she's nice and shiney and new looking.

Hopefully get some advice and guidance on locatin bits and bobs from the seasoned pro's on here!

Welcome newbie and I'm glad the drive was worth it. I always think a long trek to pick up a car is a greater, more memorable bonding experience than just picking one up locally :D

Cheers folks!

It was a crackin drive - only stopped to fill her up for 20 minutes in the 9 hour period. That kinda say it all. In fact when I got home (I'm about halfway between Dundee and Aberdeen in a wee town called Montrose) I just wanted to keep on going!! I only have the pics that the guy who sold her to me sent, the best of these shoudl be below……

Just spent 6 hours cleanin up my Sportline  8O

It really needed it tho - inside and out. The paint on bonnet had gone really flat (need a new one as its got a big dent in it too) but after usin Autoglym Paint Renovator on it, its come up really well. Took a pic with my phone so its not the greatest, but trust me she's nice and shiny  :D
