Well Max here from Derbyshire (Papillon) had a MK1 but had to sell it a few years ago (kids ect) now back in a position to find another 50 years old and just love them so all going well I will find myself a new Mk1 gti on this site feel free to e mail me if you have somthing nice for sale upto about 4.5 k at the top.

Welcome to the site.  Obvious suggestion but you may have not yet, but have have you tried the for sale section?  Some lovely examples for sale at the moment.

hello, welcome to the site / region.  mmmnn might be worth having a word with welsh-mk1….   what spec are you after, standard modified ?  a project maybe….. put an add in the wanted section and have a look in the for sale section i'm sure you will find one. also worth having a read of the buyers guide..
