Im from, Chessington which is near Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey.
Im a keen dubber and have had a Mk4 Polo in the past which i converted to a 1.8T but sadly sold a few years back.
The golf is my next project to return to its full Campaign Glory.

How do i post pictures on here do i need to host them?

Cheers Boys

The car is ok, looks great from the outside.
I have quite alot of work to do though!
Need to check some of the wiring for switches and the alarm siren
I also need to have my mechanic look over the engine and stop this vibration im having (mk2 16v in a mk1??)
Also a small amount of rust on the bottom of the doors and sils

Other than that the car is very clean and tidy although not looking its full campaign glory which im going to rectify.

Sweet looking motor matey!  8)

I nearly swapped an old Peugeot 205 1.9GTI for a Helious blue mk1 with a 16v conversion agaes ago, it needed finishing off, basically the wiring had to be done, but the bloke lived yorkshire and Im in Kent and neither car had Tax/mot so it was'nt financially viable!

Wish I did now though!

very nice looking Mk1 you've got there

not too sure on the colour of the inlet manifold (but have an 8v G60 rocker cover in the same colour  )

Ronal turbo wheels really do look good on Mk1's IMO

Thanks very much boys,
The wiring is a complete mystery prize! Its had two alarm systems installed, the previous one was disconnected to make way for the new Cobra, which now is not working correctly. So im treating her to a new system this weekend. Wired in correctly by people that know how!!!

Body work is going to be looked at im debating to remove the plastic wheel arches and flare the metal ones, what do you guys think as im not too sure?

I want the three old clocks sitting in the dash again too someone took them out im so sad i love those.

Wheels are great but a nightmare to keep clean, but i am using this as my everyday ride at the moment.

Cant wait to show it off

Cheers guys
